SNR margin higher at night than during the day

(1/1)

konrado5:
What do you think that I have got at night higher SNR margin than during the day? I attach sudden increasement at night. I've read that SNR margin is usually lower at the night than during the day.

It is an odd situation, I agree. The rise, however, is nowhere as great as the depression that some people observe on their circuits.

Here, in the UK, the SNRM will slowly sink during the hours of darkness as long distance RFI from Eastern Europe gradually becomes more noticeable.

Looking at the plot you have shown, I would be more inclined to check what is happening with the clock on the system that is running DSLstats. It seems, from the way the traces zig-zag, that the time appears to "run backwards" for brief moments. I've seen similar, once before, but I cannot recall what was the problem nor how it was fixed.

I think somebody power off the router at night and it causes the rise because there is lower crosstalk.

Perhaps my circuit is unusual, unusual Hlog and very low RFI susceptibility.

I have every second measurement and dslstats on Netgear DGND3700v2 sometimes can't retrieve information.

That seems eminently feasible. Is the step change always precisely or very near 2300 every night?

It is about 23-1 every night.
