Regular lost packets on IPv6
« on: March 08, 2018, 09:53:27 PM »

I'm surprised no one has commented on the heart beat on my IPv6 monitor.

Anyone any idea what might be causing that?

I'm sure I've seen similar before . . . on someone else's circuit which, I believe, was also IPv6 and with A&A as the ISP/CP.

If it wasn't discussed here, in this forum, then it must have been in the TBB forum. Sorry for the vagueness in my reply, as I am unable to recall the details.

I've just had a thought. You have both TBB and A&A sending ICMP echo request demands to your VMG1312-B10D. Perhaps it feels the strain and is rebelling?

(I'm the person who cannot see the point of sending incessant ICMP echo request demands and obsessing over the ICMP echo reply that may, or may not, be received.   )
