p***ll.co.uk uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Unsupported protocol
The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Warnings of such type seem to be cropping up more often, and with further blocking by Malwarebytes.
For the first time, however, the site of a well known independent electronics retailer has suffered the fate, and is inaccessible .

Why are such warnings occuring? can my antivirus and other security be set to override?

highpriest:
Which browser and operating system?

Hi

The error looks like its chrome and the cause would most likely be a rewrite redirect redirect which is forming a loop, and/or it is as displayed, no ciphers are usable, probably as a result of the redirect loop

I could be wrong sorry

Many thanks

John

renluop:
Chrome, yes. Funny a few minutes after I posted connection was made without problem.

--- Quote ---rewrite redirect redirect
--- End quote ---
has left me head scratching, though.
