Sadly, I don't think ZyXEL has added support for RFC4638 in any of their routers when run in bridge mode. AAISP did some tests on the VMG1312 and found this:
https://support.aa.net.uk/VMG1312-B10A:_Bugs2016-10-24 Sadly (even though the hardware can support it) ZyXEL have told us that they will not be adding support for baby jumbo frames.
I have a very similar setup to yours and couldn't get it working with the ZyXEL in bridge mode. This was my config:

But internet access goes all weird. Windows machines appeared to cope reasonably well but Apple devices were not happy at all. About half of all websites and the vast majority of apps stopped working on them.
My ISP (Zen) did some tests at their end and came to pretty much the same conclusion:
We've had a bit of a play and can only get the 8324 to support MTU of 1492 (+ 16 check bits). So, it doesn't look like it's going to work.
They are now sending me a TG589vac V2 to see if I can get it working on that device. I know the Vigor 130 supports it but I've had some bad experience with it in the past so not going to risk getting my line banded again (my cab is Huawei). Might have to dust off the HG612 if I can't get RFC4638 to work on the TG589vac V2.
Shame really as the VMG8324 is a really nice bit of kit. In bridge mode, it is a very stable modem.
