Having lived near Babbage's home town of Totnes for many years I was aware of his achievements but have never before seen the working machine. Fascinating. :)

Damm, now everyone will know what the dlm looks like. Wonder if any one will suss the evening slow downstream sppeds is cos my arm is getting tired.  :-X

Just contacted Acer Support asking where my winding handle is and where I should shove it (Shut up at the back) when I get one.
