@shdf ...

Great work again, amazingly your knowledge and what you already got out of it. For things that make life easier and only need to insert a few lines of code, I am always available.

If you know new things, don't hesitate to tell it out.... I am pleased....  :)

(a test machine is always ready ...  ;D )

i don't know, but why someone would want this kind of feature ? you should be the only one in the hearth... ;D is that something Ansuel added in his GUI ?

I'm using Ansuel's GUI 3.36, and wireless scheduling is not set separately for 2.4 GHz and 5GHz.

Scheduling can also be set by MAC address if you want to control access by a particular device.

I'm not the only one... and there is a reason.

Thanks but i need for band not for particular device.

A small success in the late evening:

By exchanging the file "device-modal.lp" (Ansuel) all values are displayed again in the TIM GUI (plus editing function "Hostname").

/www/docroot/modals
device-modal.lp

Before

After:

it's already like that on firmware 1.1.x  :) i think Ansuel used the file from that firmware

The reason for the nginx error messages when logging in to the WebGUI are either missing files or incorrect or unspecified user names in files.
(these nginx errors have nothing to do with Ansuel, they are already included in the firmware)

I could easily fix a "simple" bug in 1.0.5, the favicon.ico was missing in folder /www/docroot/img.
error message:
nginx [warn] 4666#0: *49 [lua] session.lua:343: new(): new session for default user, client: 192.168.0.2, server: localhost, request: "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.1"

---------------------

Accordingly, for example, something must be missing here (indicated by xxxxxxx):

nginx [warn] 4666#0: *63 [lua] session.lua:343: new(): new session for default user, client: 192.168.0.2, server: localhost, request: "GET /xxxxxxx HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.1"

or

nginx [error] 4666#0: *53 [lua] sessionmgr.lua:231: redirectIfNotAuthorized(): Unauthorized request, client: 192.168.0.2, server: localhost, request: "GET /xxxxxxx HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.1", referrer: "hxxp://192.168.0.1/"

or here

nginx [warn] 4666#0: *53 [lua] session.lua:103: changeUser(): changing user to default user, client: 192.168.0.2, server: localhost, request: "POST /xxxxxxx HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.1", referrer: "hxxp://192.168.0.1/"

But what is missing, which file, in which file are wrong usernames entered (or missing)?

Who can help, give advice or contribute something useful?

 :)

My modem appears to be sending dhcp discovery requests on the lan side, the source mac address being that of the wifi interface EXCEPTS it end in :eb per the packet capture on the br-lan interface.

Any ideas on what this could be and how I could stop this? DHCP is disabled everywhere that I can see.

Also I noticed something interesting, if you disable wansensing in the config the internet card changes from bridged to dhcp.

@eclp
the favicon warning message is not an nginx error but a warning about your browser looking for a file that doesn't exists.

every [warn] messages from nginx are not nginx errors but things you or your browser are trying to do, ie accessing an nonexistent file.

sessionmgr.lua and session.lua are located here : /usr/lib/lua/web
There must be something unexpected in the functions redirectIfNotAuthorized and  changeUser

did you really disabled the DHCP for the wifi ? there are 3 DHCP: LAN, WIFI 2.4 and WIFI 5Ghz

tonight i learned something about the "wan sensing" of the modem:
https://www.ilpuntotecnicoeadsl.com/forum/index.php/topic,77325.msg219942.html#msg219942

This router can connect to the Internet in 3 ways:
1) telephone line (adsl / vdsl)
2) PPP over Ethernet (ftth)
3) USB 3g/4g key (as fallback)

These scripts /etc/config/wansensing "manage" these interfaces and change from one to another depending on availability.

Someone is trying to set the wan port as a lan port, but the wansensing is doing unexpected things...and stoping it /etc/init.d/wansensing stop makes the modem thinking it is in bridge mode...

Is it safe to disable this if you run the DGA in bridge mode anyway?
I have this entry every five minutes:

Code: [Select]
[wansensing] (L3UpSense) runs L3UpMain.check(VDSL,timeout)

I also have a lot of these error messages, but I can't find anything where to disable this "auto_update".

Did you disable the mobile function?
/etc/init.d/mobiled disable
/etc/init.d/mobiled stop
