One thing I am not sure: if you get the modem with firmware up to v1.0.3 then you can unlock it, but with an upper version you cannot, which means you have an unusable device ??
They are sold with version 1.0.2, if they are brand new (never used/connected to the network in italy) then they can be unlocked.
Outside italy, or with a different ISP than TIM, the modem cannot update itself to another version, the CWMP can only be reached if your IP address is in the TIM network.

Is this the right thing? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MODEM-ROUTER-AGTHP-1-0-2-TELECOM-TIM-HUB-DGA4132-ADSL-VDSL-FIBRA-1000-MEGA-WI-FI/292331485462?hash=item4410507916:g:kJQAAOSwzXxZ5bWj

Can't use Amazon for other reasons.

Nope, that's the 4132 or TIM HUB, good piece of hardware but's not what you're looking for as it's NOT unlockable ATM, you need a 4130 and the SW version needs to be AGTEF 1.02 or 1.03, not higher.

I am tempted.  If possible are you able to post which instructions you followed or a quick list of what you did so we know the order, everything is still relevant and in one place?  Thanks

Hey all !  :)
Is it possible to use this Modem in bridge mode with outgoing vlan tag ?
I would need "VPI/VCI 1/32" and "vlan tag 835" so my router behind can establish a pppoe connection.
Any advice which GUI and firmware version i should use for pure bridge mode ?

hello,
everything works, just use the latest GUI (Actualy 3.32).
VPI/VCI are for ADSL, Vlan tag is usualy used for VDSL, you have ADSL with a VLAN id 835 ?

Why would you need a router behind ? This modem/router can manage everything...

I'm on VDSL2 with vectoring but afaik i need VPI/VCI 1/32 + Vlan Tag/id 835 to establish a pppoe connection on my main Router.
Right now im using a Vigor 130 with Lantiq chipset and in the gui i can set up bridge Mode with 1/32 and Vlan Tag insertion for VDSL.

Atm i'm very happy with my main Router (TP-Link Archer C2600), so i only need a bridged modem with Broadcom 63138 Chipset and Gbit LAN.  ;)

haaa this is the default config in the Draytek, this part is not used when you're in VDSL, it's just the default data for ADSL.  :) Only the VLAN part is used in your case.

So yes the bridge mode is supported, btw another user (bilbokitz) in this forum is using it in bridge mode.

I'm just trying to set one of these up myself. I've unlocked it, upgraded firmware from 1.02 to 1.03 and I'm now trying to update the web gui to 3.32. I've put the gui file into /tmp, and ran the two commands as instructed. After the second command it has been sat at the following prompt for about 10 mins now:-

writing from \dev\mtd4 to \dev\mtd3...

How long should this take?
Thanks
