Anyone have got idea on how long will it take for the Professional registration committee to take their decision. Is there any timeline ?

Did you get an acknowledgement ? If not you have justification for asking if they received it and when you can expect a reply.

In my experience CEng is not as significant to an employer as the institution seem to feel so suggest let it take its course.
