It's awesome because it's far superior to the alternative model DSLAM that OpenReach use.

Oh excellent .  That's great then.

I guess by google street, 0.5mile.  2 miles from the exchange.

Now, according to the checks I 'may' with fibre get somewhere in the region of 19mb to 26mbps.  That's a pretty huge theoretical leap in speed and life changing I might add  ;D.
Depending on the ISP, some quote the Range A(clean line) figures from the DSL Checker, some quote the Range B (impacted line) figures.
If you have a "clean line" then you should get somewhere in the Range A bracket, despite what the ISP quote you.

Your link, above, brings up an image of the PCP. To see its "fibre twin", rotate by ninety degrees anteclockwise and look across to the junction with Highfield Drive. There you will see the cabinet, equipped with a Huawei SmartAX MA5603T MSAN (operating just as a DSLAM).  :)

That's the kiddie.  I best wander up and dust off the cobwebs and clean the weeds away to make sure she's in good order.

Oh God,  today the router arrived.  Wife says it looks like a pharmacy pill box with a big  plus on the front.   She's right.
And she's not happy.
Why don't they put a bit of contemporary art into these things that go into every house in the world.
I best find a place to discreetly hide it away.

Oh dear. "Senior management" has indicated her disapproval.  :-X

Would she have a bottle of black nail-varnish, for example, the contents of which you would be allowed to use to paint the front of the offending device?  :-\

Well I mean surely to God They can mould plastic to a decent shape.  They are in every home now. They make millions of them. I know it's included in the price but seriously...
And g.inp......I'm just getting into fibre so someone else can chime in on that as I don't know if it is or what that is.

Bring on your worst router pics!!

My experience of the HH5A is that it didn't appear to support G.Inp as it synced at a lower speed than either a HH5B or a Huawei HG612.
