I dont know, but the HEC counter is clearly not redundant as it tallies based on the condition of the line.

Presumably the Windows installer is absent as 6.0.3 is pre-release. IIRC the new version is supposed to solve the problem of floating point errors.
6.0.2 is on my comp. Can I copy over the config settings of 6.0.3 to quickly update to 6.0.3 safely?

The only significant change between 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 is that the latter includes HEC errors in MDWS uploads. It also included a change which might have resolved the floating point errors, but it doesn't do so. I suggest that you don't bother to upgrade.

Upgraded the 64bit version on Ubuntu 16.04 xenial and everything seems to be running fine so far.

Just one tiny observation if I may. Not that it really matters but the CHANGELOG file is set as executable for owner and group.

Good heavens, so it is. It's the same on both Linux versions and the Raspberry Pi version, and it looks as though it has been for many versions back. As you say, it's unimportant, but it's nice to correct these things all the same.
