STOP IT .....
You know I am a sucker for Aldi stuff.

But the USB DVB-T Tuner looks interesting, especially with the twin aerial.

You can't take it with OF  :)

And yes,the TV tuner looks interesting.Does that mean there is no need for an external ariel(if your present  reception is ok)

How can I put it, Yes,

If using it indoors, then you would want to use the aerial that gives you the best reception.
On the other hand, if using it out-doors you would have to use the aerial that is supplied, which seems better than just the single stick aerial.

Thanks Of,its just that my tv is in the living room but my pc is in a spare bedroom. We have a sony portable in the bedroom that works brilliantly with just the loop ariel.I just would like to watch tv via the pc without going to a lot of expense.

Maplins have this external drive, which IMHO is better value than Aldi`s.

Sorry to drag up a thread that's well over a week old, but one great feature of the Aldi drive is that when you put it in the special bay at the top of the Medion PC, it's actually using an eSATA connection, rather than USB. So transfers, in theory, ought to be a bit quicker.

The only problem with the adaptor (Harddisk to go) is that it only comes with a HDD installed at around £60.00

£60 is a fairly decent price for a 500GB external disk, but you might not want that particular one, etc...

They should sell the caddies separately.

Yes but they won't, I asked.
