Maximum possible throughput
« on: July 15, 2017, 08:53:19 PM »

My IP profile is set at 42.54 Mbps at present. What is the maximum possible throughput possible at this speed?

How do you calculate that?

Presumably you'd at least want to account for the TCP and IP headers. Assuming IPv4 and TCP timestamps off, the TCP and IP header are each 20 bytes, so you have 1452 bytes of payload data in the typical 1492 byte MTU packet.

42.54 1452/1492 = 41.40 Mbps
