My connection insane this morning

(1/9) > >>

renluop:
It has varied from 7000 to 400 down sync thsi morning with numerous drops, and SNRM has moved between 9 and -2 dB. WTH could be going on? is there any clue from router's log and other info attached?

konrado5:
Could you attach Hlog and QLN?

renluop:
Sorry, they've gone, cleared automatically.

Chrysalis:
snr dropping means some kind of noise, if your sync is going up and down this backs up the variable amount of noise, other then that I cannot say sorry.  No idea what type of noise it would be.

renluop:
I didn't want to start another thread. ( hears tentative sighs of relief ;D).
Monday and Tuesday were gruesome with 20+ disconnections.
Errors yuk!

--- Code: ---23 Jan 2018 20:15
CRC errors per hour: 1196 Down, 43.4 Up
FEC errors per hour: 1408 Down, 670 Up
HEC errors per hour: 7557 Down, 171 Up
ES per hour: 99.0 Down, 16.0 Up
SES per hour: 62.7 Down, 0.91 Up
--- End code ---

The Mills of Ren grind extremely slow. At last I connected to the test socket, and now no further disconnections, and errors:

--- Code: ---Average error rates for 24 Jan 2018 11:35

CRC erors per hour:  1.72 Down,  0 Up
FEC erors per hour:  183 Down,  37.9 Up
HEC erors per hour:  6.09 Down,  0 Up
ES per hour:  1.37 Down,  0 Up
SES per hour:  0 Down,  0 Up

--- End code ---
So, it must be a domestic problem. Is it worthwhile to attempt to trace source before I get man in, or best not to?
