PFsense - no carrier

Hello,

when I check my PFsense configuration there is a note saying ***no carrier*** - but when I check the properties  I see there is traffic coming in and out,
but I have a laptop connected to the pfsense machine to work withe the web console - besides I do not have internet on this laptop.
