Any help outside the two boxes (my HDR and my TV)?

I am having difficulty with the On Demand services of my Humax Freesat HDR. I am already receiving help, but think it could be useful to have some ideas from others that do not have the same, but may have experienced similar problems.

I had to reformat the HDR, which had corrupted. Everything was set up successfully bar the on demand facilities. Populating should only take a few hours, but now is approaching 36. Humax screens on the TV all sat I am connected; all physical connections have been checked, and network is working ( verified).

if there are any, let's have someting, that might come in to the clever heads here. Please!

As I understand it, the on demand parts are located on a different partition on the harddisk, if this has become corrupted as well this may lead to the situation your experiencing.
