Can an MDF fault effect FTTC?
« on: April 06, 2017, 12:00:02 PM »

After doing the run around with plusnet for a fair while about my speed being way off the estimate something has finally been detected.

Fault Type: Speed issue on BB but fault found on phone test.
Test Results: EX (Fault located at exchange (BT Wholesale side of MDF))

Can a fault of this type effect FTTC much??

No. Two separate parts of the network. You FTTC Broadband begins its journey to your premises at the Cab, not the Exchange.
