It seems from the article that they were simply lying gits, and I have also seen that kind of thing going on over here, def. mentioning no names. But when service providers oversell services knowing that users are not going to get the performance that they have been promised because of contention or even shared media access then I do think they should have the book thrown at them. It doesn't cost anything to be honest with the numbers or to say that things are uncertain or can't be guaranteed. End of mini-rant. ooh i do feel better now.
