Could never get the DSL modem to work well, so it collected dust for a while.

With fibre I only need it as a router, but alas it does not seem that it can do that either.

Configured the router for two ISP PPPoE WAN interfaces, and added a policy-based route (IPPR) to channel traffic from a particular machine to WAN2.  This works ok, until the device is restarted.  Then the routing no longer works.  Problem appears on both firmware version 14 and 15.

The device also restarts by itself every 2 to 3 days.  Other functions such as dynamic DNS are also flaky, or simply do not work.

Has anyone been able to use policy routing (IPPR) on this device?

I've split off your post to create a thread in its own right, as it's then more likely to receive the attention it deserves . . . rather than as a post appended to the end of a rather long thread concerning firmware.

Thanks for assistance.  I got rid of the ZyXEL and created a proper router using an old laptop and pfSense.  All router features you will ever need and rock solid performance.
