Up Stream All Over The Place.
« on: November 26, 2016, 11:55:47 AM »

In the summer I had a similar problem and Kcom Eclipse my isp wanted me to go back to ADSL from ADSL2 to try to see if my long 4.3kl line was better, it was.
I ask to go back to ADSL2 again (after I thought a noisy line had been fixed) the Downstream is steady but 'upstream' is all over the place, errors are not bad.
I think the REIN issues have been sorted on my neighbors security camera.
My line profile should be 6dB + 6dB but the up keeps going to about 18dB ! .

Not getting much help  :(

These dips in the 'upstream' are when we use the phone, either making or receiving a call and when I did a QLT on 17070 which at the time seem good although Mrs tickmike has heard crackling on the phone  :o, tried two different modems both do the same, If I force the modem to ADSL setting you do not get these dips when the phone is used.

Also note the strange ripple in the upstream .

Not sure what caused the dip in the 'downstream' about 4pm till 10pm.

 :help:
