To a great extent agreed, firstly bankruptcy can never be the fate of a company.
Secondly there are steps before such as administration and administrative receivership. However what happens would depend on the parent bodies and their needs/desires.
BTW and FWIW in the two years ended 12/14 and 12/15 return on assets employed was negative by over 20%.
