DSLStats on an Xpenology machine ?
« on: October 31, 2016, 04:41:36 PM »

Hi,

I've got an HP Microserver (Gen 8) running Xpenology (a hack of the Synology product) and wondered if anyone has tried running DSLStats on such a device (or a Synology) ? As most of the house occupants have either laptops or tablets, this is the only device on 24x7.

Despite having such a device (I set it up a while back) my technical skills have gone rather rusty, so go easy on the questions!

Approached it via another method... Installed VirtualBox on the Xpenology and created a Linux VM that runs DSLstats. Hopefully the overhead on the server is a minimum....   ;D :fingers:
