Wow..   I'd seen some of your earlier posts whilst it was in progress and you were still building it.   The finished result is just awesome.

Thanks Kitz, still some minor things to do, need to build a better controller for the blinds and try and replicate the RF controller for the screen. Got a Raspberry Pie for that task but never got around to it yet.

The best Android box that I'm aware of is the Nvidia Shield, as it's powerful and will also bit-stream Dolby Atmos and DTX Neural X with a special version of Kodi, the majority of Android boxes can't do this, but of course if you don't have a need for this then cheaper ones will do. Only problem with the Shield is that Amazon blocked Amazon Prime from working on it. I also have a couple of Fire TV's, and some Chromecast sticks which never get used these days. All our TV recording is done on the server which has a quad satellite tuner (Freesat) and Mediaportal TV Server installed. We use Mediaportal on the PC's for TV, also Emby which runs on a multitude of devices can access TV via MP.
