Lost Files
« on: October 13, 2016, 10:43:41 AM »

Good morning all,
Has anyone else lost files since using Win 10? I just cannot find many of my photo folders, I'd heard of this happening to others but not to me until recently.

Any views on this, or even ways to recover the missing files?
Regards,

Peter

Do you have more than one Hard drive? or Partitions? on your computer.
You may have to remap your folders.

Also it may be worth giving something like "Everything" a shot just to make sure it hasn't accidently been moved somewhere obscure.  I find it invaluable for searching for lost or forgotten files.

Once installed you can look under Search -> and then set the file type to pictures.   Its surprising what it finds.

Good luck :)
