Greetings
« on: July 26, 2016, 12:41:38 AM »

Hi all,

I've just upgraded my PN account to FTTC, and I discovered this place during the research process. The info here has already been of great help; thank you.

I thought I would introduce myself before I jump in with my first question.

My name's Rick, it's been used on the 'net before so no point trying to be anonymous. I've been networking long enough to remember when going up to 56k was a big deal, and overclocking my PC meant soldering in a faster crystal oscillator. (Some) things have moved on a lot since then.

Right, I'm off to post my first question...  ;D
