Is Gatwick Airport a problem for my DFS?
« on: July 12, 2016, 12:44:04 PM »

I was wondering if Gatwick Airport might be the reason DFS channels don't seem to work in my apartment, on my old BT HH5 the DFS channels would often switch to much lower channels when I set 100+ manually...

How near are you, I'm 7 miles from EMA and I pick up the radar also sometimes the planes come over the top of us.

I think DFS is meant for weather radar, and some forms of military radar. I wouldn't have thought that any one location would manage to splat all of the DFS spectrum ... but false positives are always possible.

Probably less than 7 miles, underneath the flights paths and can see the planes take of and land from my window so would assume any signals from over their could easily be reaching me.
