Broadband Outage In Dunkeswell, Devon
« on: February 04, 2016, 12:02:25 PM »

As of a couple of weeks ago, Dunkeswell is currently without broadband. Currently, BT don't have an approximate fix date which I think is rediculous. Is there a website that will give more information about this?

Is that Luppit exchange.  Ive searched a few resources and it looks like originally it was suspected to be a linecard issue.
More recent info shows a suspected fault with the dslam and partial loss of some broadband services.  Some services were restored on 1st Feb.
Latest is they are still investigating and eta for full repair is unknown.

Bit more info

LUPPITT MUX 001 : PARTIAL LOSS OF SERVICE

27/01/2016
The root cause of this failure is a possible migration issue. The migration team will be engaged in the morning to investigate further, with the assistance of Technical Support. Next update will be issued upon service restoration unless there should be a significant development.
30/02/2016
The circuits have been rebuild however as a precaution monitoring will take place over the weekend to ensure all the customers are working fully and there no issues at peak traffic times.
01/02/2016
Some of the service has been restored however technical services are investigating and trying to find the root cause of the problem and will look to restore all service tomorrow morning. Next update will be issued upon service restoration unless there should be a significant development.
02/02/2016
Technical services are still investigating restoring service an update will be provided once service has fully restored. No estimated time of repair at present. Next update will be issued upon service restoration unless there should be a significant development.
Technical services continue to investigate this failure. Root cause and estimated time of repair are unknown at present.

Yes, I can confirm that this is the Luppit exchange.

Thanks for the information and link, kitz. I feel so stupid, I even saw the use of these type of links on the BTCare Community Forums for people who had a broadband problem related to an exchange fault.

The info came from the 4 links at the top of this page.
Sometime some of them give more info, whilst at other times it may be one of the others that gives the most info.

So sometimes its worth checking all of them
