I was thinking last night that if my internet goes down, I don't have the phone number that used to show on the HH5 to call BT.

I've called it a few times when the Internet went out and it immediately relaxed me as it would say there is a general area fault.

So does anyone know the number offhand, or can point me in the right direction?

No idea. I recall if you dialled 151 and listened to the prompts, you get there ................ eventually.

Ok, I looked through my notes and found that this is the number: 0800 169 0199 Its free from a BT line. I know its for BT's customers, maybe it might work for others if its a multi- isp issue effecting an area. I remember it gives up to date information and lists off the local area codes having issues with phone and broadband.
