My manufacture for my gaming laptop Clevo has dropped support for windows 10 so I have to use windows 8 drivers on windows 10 but some of the drivers don't work.

Win8 chipset driver -works
Win8 Intel rapid storage - works
Win8 Cardreader - works
Win8 Hotkey driver - works
Win8 LAN driver - works

Win10 intel graphics from intel website works
Win10 AMD driver from AMD website works
WIn10 Realtek sound from realtek webiste works

Win8 THX Studio Pro doesnt work, not even with 8.1
Win8 finger print scanner doesnt work

SO my questions are is using windows 8 drivers on windows 10 OK? And can anyone help me with the THX and finger scanner dirvers? Or will I just have to not use them

I used a Windows 8 soundcard driver with my new Windows 10 install. Works fine.

Have you tried running the installer in compatibility mode? I presume W10 has a compatibility mode like W7 does, I used to have do this when W7 first came out to trick the drivers into thinking they were running on Vista so they would install.

Hi I tried that it didnt seem to work. It works on windows 8 but when I did upgrade to 8.1 it didnt even work so I dont know
