I'm aware that the forum appears to be suffering from slow loading.   My hosts are currently looking into this matter.
It doesnt appear to be server specific as all other parts of the site are performing fine. Trying to track down what is causing it.

My hosts cant see anything obvious and its been escalated.
I can't see anything in the forum logs other than something relating to tapatalk is throwing some errors.

I've been out for a couple of hours, but it's fine here now, and it was fine earlier.

Has been very slow for me.

Big lags before displaying a post preview or moving around the site.

Also could not post a link to Dropbox, it just did not appear in the message.
Worked when I changed it to a hyperlink. !!!

Other sites are OK and no lags, so don't think it is me.

Not sure what time it started.  I think it was about 12ish when I got back & I saw it.  I probably wouldn't have noticed it otherwise as I should have been out all day, but I cancelled an appt I had and came home.

Just got this back from my hosts:

I have checked the server logs and the site itself, I don't see any reason why the site was down or was loading slowly. It was probably due to high load spike. The service did not crash or stop working, hence, i cant see any errors.

Which in itself is a mystery because the first thing I checked was the server load stats which runs live... and it was showing at <1%.   As the slowness was for a good half hour, if it was load then surely I would have seen that on the livestats - as would have the first person at my hosts who I reported it to. ?
Anyway, whatever it was seems to have corrected itself without me doing anything, so it will remain one of life's mysteries.

Whatever happened on the server was soooo bad
that it stuffed my iPad, I couldn't access other websites, not even devices on the LAN,
and so
I
had to
reboot the iPad.

Just no access to Kitz site at 18:30 for 4 minutes the pings to site during outage came back fine.

The server has had some new hardware added today, hence the reboot.
