Windows 10 Reset vs Proper Reset
« on: July 30, 2015, 05:49:40 PM »

So I managed to get windows 10 and activate it.

If I wanted to do a clean install what way would you recommend doing it, through windows 10 by going to Settings>Update & security>Recovery>Reset this PC or downloading windows 10 on a USB and wiping the drive yourself and installing?

Thanks

Read this http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,15825.msg295050.html#msg295050 and get the Windows 10 .ISO of choice.

If you change nothing on your machine, you can blitz it clean and install from the ISO and get a clean install that activates.

Make a full backup you can restore from 'just in case' for safety ...... this is a must.

Cannot rely on MS not changing something that breaks this as it is under constant update as it is 'Windows as a Service' now. :)
Consider Windows 10 as Beta+ for the next few months at least. (Personally I will be making that 12 months and seeing how it looks then)
