Line spacing issues
« on: June 27, 2015, 06:47:47 PM »

When when inputting a line space between two lines of text, e.g.

Line 1

Line 2

behave as expected but when doing a space between a list and a line of text it looks different, e.g.

  • List

Line.

Why is the spacing different?

I believe that's normal with bullet lists. On my own website I see exactly the same behaviour. Presumably a line break is automatically added before and after the list.

As eric said, I believe its standard behaviour for html.    Starting a list will insert a double line break in the same way as a new paragraph.

I have to cheat sometimes when using html if I dont want a double line break - instead I have to use spaces and bullets.

Sorry eric, I'd started to reply earlier and got distracted by the phone - thanks.

Sorry to bump this but I've got a similar issue with paragraph spacing.

If I leave a line (a paragraph) between two things, the space is sometimes double when the post is made. I have to go back into the post to edit it.

For example.

This has left a double space even though I only put a single space in when I made the post!

How are you making the posts?

I know that if you use the WYSIWYG editor, then that appears to have a problem with line spacing.   I seem to also recall that similar may happen with Tapatalk.
Unfortunately it isn't anything that I can change..   there was talk of it being fixed in 2.1, but thats still in beta
