I've done this before some time ago and cross flashed Netgear firmware to a D-Link router which just required the use of the boot loader failsafe update page, just wondering if possible to do this with the Netgear D6400 firmware, as I assume the hardware is very similar. Of course things like VoIP will probably not work and the LED's may not work correctly.
Before I start messing around just wondered what other people thought that having played around with these things, i.e. Eirecom to ZyXEL.
Just wondering if the Netgear firmware would prove a more mature than the efforts of ZyXEL at the moment.
