Dilbert
« on: April 08, 2015, 08:27:33 PM »

I don't know how many folk here follow Dilbert, I do religiously. Just recently there have been some cartoons relating to the way men explain things which Scott calls 'mansplaining' and todays (08 April 2015) made me think of Kitz, I just wonder how many times maybe she has felt like Alice in this cartoon? See here to see it.

Love Dilbert.

It is 100% true to life in a large American Company.

I have though it is used as an' ideas source' for some of the 'best ideas'  ::) I have had to live through.  ;) :D :D

Long before Dilbert (and the PHB) there was Grimbledon Down and its director, Treem.

Grimbledon Down = Bill Tidy, loved his cartoon style (looks 'thrown down on the paper' but clever details) & his sense of Humour. (He was a 'Scouser' so good match.)  ;D
Quick search found this which is typical 'Bill Tidy' Humour, if you don't know him.
Do you remember the 'Fosdyke Saga' in the Daily Mirror (Spit)  ;D
I caught it now & then when reading the discarded papers while waiting in the Barbers for my Dad.  ;D ;D

Something else for the 'Misc search' list. ;D

The Fosdyke Saga, yes, that brings back memories. And don't forget The Cloggies. There's nowt so good as wry northern humour!  ;)

Bill Tidy's cartoons are very distinctive. All humans have just three digits on each hand.
