Does anyone know if the exported config file from the Technicolor 582n will import directly into the Plusnet 2704n router please  :hmm:

I dont know for sure, but I'd be doubtful if it would.  The 582n is a Thomson whilst the 2704n is a Sagem and they contain different chipsets.

Okay thanks! I sort of half-guessed it was an unlikely pairing but someone has given me one after changing ISPs and I thought it might save some setup angst if it was possible when I try it....

[deleted a bit - too much wine last night]

As an aside I see BE1 now has G.INP as of this morning so he'll be a happy bunny stats-wise. Hasn't done much for his line sync though, just a few extra kb on U/S  :(

 :( indeed.

I wasn't expecting miracles as my connection has been gradually, but quite severely affected by increased crosstalk.

However, as Bearer 0 Interleaving has now been applied at 16 DS & 8 US, the reduced error counts & the new way that G.INP handles things MIGHT help (a little) ???

I can at least claim that I appear to have the lowest DS INP value reported (in MDWS) for DS INP on a G.INP activated connection :congrats:

Don't you have to wait for DLM to reduce/remove its conventional error compensation once it realises the error counts etc are much lower than they were?
