from the ST585 prove that its adsl1

If you were on adsl2+, it would show g.dmt.bis+ or G.992.5.

Your line may perform slightly better on adsl2 which is (G.992.3 / G.DMT.bis) - see my earlier post for reasons why.

1/ Now I know what to look for on the NG. 2/ Understand.

Update from BT forum MOD, message and email, quote from email: ".....checking your account details I can see that your broadband is already on the ADSL2+ equipment in the exchange however the profile mirrors an ADSL max profile due to the lower speeds you get........ .............the profile is set automatically by wholesale when you place an order and the option to choose the profile is not given as they are meant to choose the best one based on your line. I appreciate that you need a faster upload speed so I have placed a request with wholesale to get that uncapped and you should see an improvement in the next 24 hours. Please can you drop me a reply to this email to let me know when you see the increase?

Guessing its just upload thats being uncapped. Hope the target noise goes back to 3 and get back to 1000 more sync. Maybe this thread should be moved to ADSL issues lol.  Thanks for advice

If youve moved from maxdsl to adsl2+ then it should trigger a new training phase.  :)
