Or just purchase a Raspberry Pi.  :)

Thanks, just thought I would ask ;D

Maybe when MS have developed the Xbox platform further, there may be the capability to simply load any Windows app.

Guess i'll just have to keep my laptop running.

Cheers

not win32 apps which is what dsl stats is.

The universal app platform is for modern apps.

Just having the weirdest problem with MDWS. My status bar is all showing ok, but my graphs are giving an 'Access permission denied' message. If I change to view another user's graph all is fine. If I change the 'Data to show' option on my graphs they display ok except when reverting to the original option displayed. I.e I can display any parameter except the one that was being displayed when the problem occured. At some point during the evening, I changed the default user agent for Firefox to IE10 and then back again I'm wondering if that caused the problem. Re-starting Firefox restores normal operation. Just thought I'd post out of interest and for information.

Is there any way to change the ISP shown when logged in to the MyDSLWebStats webpage? Don't know if it matters, but mine is wrong.

This is picked up automatically from a reverse lookup on the IP you are uploading from - in your case this is currently:
Code: [Select]
netname:        VODAFONE-FIXED-IP
descr:          Fixed IP (Static)
descr:          Vodafone Wholesale Broadband
descr:          sqyn02-bng-01 London

There are some other entries
Code: [Select]
role:           Cable and Wireless Access Ltd
or
descr:          Bulldog Communications

so I guess one of those two is your actual ISP? I can manually change it if you want?

I think all of those are Vodafone seeing as Vodafone bought Cable and Wireless who bought Bulldog :)

I have the same problem with 'rate my ISP' for Origin who use Vodafone as just one of their wholesalers.

I attempt rdns and also direct from RIPE netnames or ASN.  Despite trying, there was nothing to uniquely identify Origin, the IPs are auto dished out by Vodafone from their pool.
About the only clue is in the description "Vodafone Wholesale Broadband" when you do a manual lookup, but unfortunately I dont get all of the descr fields returned when doing automated lookups direct from the RIPE database.

The C&W and Bulldog is just a historic thing in the RIPE db which has never been changed - Vodafone bought out the Bulldog/CW core network.

Thanks all.

@tbailey2 - I'm with Origin so it would be good if you could change it to that?

Just a thought though - I apparently have a dynamic ISP, albeit I've never seen it change and some searches I've done on the IP show as static / a fixed IP?

Done but if you are on a dynamic IP rather than fixed as the record suggests, it will change back to Vodafone if the IP address changes...

I seem to have a problem when viewing my own historic Bits/Tone graphs, in the drop down list I have graph for every hour of the day from 10 December, yet when I select any of them I get an error "Not available! No data is available for this user and this request! Please select another option..."

Selecting my works user name Ronskiwork the historic graphs work, the hourly graphs also start on the 10 December, previous to that there is one graph for each day at midnight, all graph dates work.

Should there be hourly graphs and any chance of fixing my home account graphs please?
