For @pdes
Your upload equipment clock thinks it's the 1st January 2012 00:58 at the moment :-X

This would account for the really strange data on your graphs!! It appears to have flipped back to end of 2011 around 21-05-2016 09:56:00...

Tony, Rather than have it display strange data, wouldn't it be better to reject data being uploaded where the date/time is way out? I'd suggest more than an hour to avoid daylight saving time problems if that is a likely issue.

Nice idea but there is also an issue of timezones if some users are not UK based, so it might not be as easy as that.

Possible but we have users in California, Australia and New Zealand for example. It also means a lot of coding to detect and notify users etc etc. There is always a message on the User terminal though if the clock is out. It's a very unusual occurrence to have the clock this far out by umpteen years!

But not of help if they don't log in. I have mailed him. That doesn't work when someone hasn't updated their email and it bounces. There is one user who had been uploading for 14 months  but I've binned all uploads for the past 12 months as the uploads are invalid but his e-mail bounces...

Fixed, thanks.  I was wondering what was wrong!  I have a monitoring PC that seems to just lose it's time and date stamp after power cuts!

Cheers

Okay, all looks well now. You maybe need a new motherboard battery/button cell?

Does indeed sound like he needs a new CMOS battery.  They can be picked up pretty cheap for about a quid.

Hi, just a quick post to say DSLStats with upload is working fine on my new Billion 8900 AX2400,  so that one can be added to the list of supported modems.  (I'm using the included Billion 8800 profile)

I've been using the SNRM/Band graph a lot recently because of the issues on my line. I was wondering if it might be possible to place a re-sync indicator on these graphs as well as the SNRM one? Certainly would be useful I think.

It may be possible but can't do anything at the moment. You do have a list of resyncs just above the graph for reference.

Over today and maybe tomorrow, the Apache process and possibly the entire server will be restarted a number of times for config changes. The former probably will pass unnoticed, the latter could mean up to 10 minutes.

I guess this might explain why I unexpectedly received 5 'not uploading' emails today. ;)

I stopped uploading the other day to try a new modem which is not compatible with DSLStats etc.
