Excel Formulae Required
« on: January 29, 2008, 07:29:27 PM »

Can any one help please?

I have a spreadsheet that I would like the result of "K22" to show either "Red or Blue"

Basically:
K19 = a static figure of £70.88
K15 = the sum of 2 other cells
K22 = the sum of (K15-K19)

So, what I would like is,
If K22 is less than K19, then the result is shown in RED, or BLUE if more than K19

Thanks

Hi

Conditional formating is what you want.  Look on the format menu put in the first condition  K22<K19  (red) condition and choose the  format button where you can choose font, colour etc  Then click add and put inthe second condition K22>=k19 (blue)

Hope this helps

Thanks Exo.

With looking at your links it reminded me of the "Conditional Formating" tool and with a little experiment I was able to achieve what I wanted to do, so thanks again.
