An Excellent router the rt-n16 (with or with out merlin fw) if dual band is not top priority.

N16 with an unlocked ECI r paired with an ECI cab would be hard to beat on a performance / cost basis.

Just read this, the 3370 did get a firmware update shortly afterwards: http://en.avm.de/service/downloads/?product=FRITZ%2521Box%2BWLAN%2B3370 including vectoring support.   ;)
