Yesterday we had an experience at a house with a planned power outage.
It has such lousy connections that they have two ADSL lines supplied by AAISP and Zen and a third "World's worst" VDSL line via Zen too.
The two ADSL lines recorded failures at 09:07 (with the AAISP one texting me) but the VDSL one only reported the disconnection at 09:11.
That suggests caution when comparing ADSL and VDSL times and points to a much slower FTTC poll rate than that used for the far larger exchange DSLAMs.
