Thanks for that one.  I haven't used Ask (Jeeves) for years and this reminds me that i ought to take another look at it - I'm fed up of Google's dominance in the market and minimalist privacy policy.

The more i use it the more i like it,the searches seem a lot more relevant.
I'm also sick of Google too many paid for links and shopping sites every time you search for anything.

Over the past 5 years or so I think Google have lost the plot totally.  Once upon a time their site was so simple and straightforward and managed to find what you wanted within the first 4/5 hits... now it is just awash with advertising.

For some strange reason they have moved the web  image e.t.c. links to the top left.
