Hello and welcome, Toby.

Having just woken from a nap, I'm still a little bit fuddled. The TO I understand as Technical Officer, however the P is causing me a bit of confusion. Does it signify Principle???

Hi Toby. A PTO on here at last !!! Just for others looking in, a PTO is who we ( the lower echelon of engineering  ;) ) turn to, when all else fails.
Personally, I've used them (well, one guy in particular), when a REIN case requires use of their specialised equipment. A lot of PTO's don't like the REIN cases so he informs me, preferring the copper faulting/Fibre faulting instead ?? Whatever you're in to, Toby, I'm sure you'll bring a wealth of knowledge mate. Good to have you on-board.

Yes, Welcome Toby.  :)

I'm sure you'll find quite a few examples on the forums of weirdunusual things happening on people's lines that you can bring your knowledge and experience to bear on.  :thumbs:

<salute>

Welcome, sir!

I was with 'the firm' for 34 years until 'early escape' in '99 - when one shelf of Alcatel ADSL cards had just appeared in the repeater station.

As others have indicated, I'm sure your presence here will be much appreciated.
