Tablets Running Android Moving Files/Folders
« on: February 20, 2013, 03:59:30 PM »

Does anyone know if you can move files from internal storage to another location on the device, eg copy and paste. :hmm:

You can download a file manager app. I've installed Dolphin on mine.

Ok I found there was a 'Explorer' in the Apps for this purpose but I could not get it to copy/paste or to Delete a file.
When I touched on the file in the 'Downloads' directory it just wanted to know what I wanted to open it with.
Any idea's.

I've never tried this myself, and instructions on these apps seem very limited or non-existent. There's a whole shedload of other file managers you might like to look at:

It was just a part of the learning curve, I find you place your finger (not just touch) on the file you want to move/delete etc, a menu comes up>un-load it> then you can copy, move or delete etc.
I had some things I downloaded and did not want so I used above to delete them.
You live and learn  ;)
