I have experienced a lot of problems with my Pc recently, and looking through Events found

The NVIDIA Display Driver Service service has reported an invalid current state 32.

. Elsewhere I found it could be caused by some hardware corruption and ran recommended VMT program and there were 4000+ errors and counting like

I updated the driver but there still remain two errors listed here with the report

Necro'ing the thread but....

You have a memory controller fault on your video card.

Solution = replace video card.

I'll run VMT again, may be, as superficially all seems to be OK, my having updated driver as well as clean re installing windows.

Running vmt from my external hard drive I find no fault. Could running it from C drive have been the incorrect way of doing it, so producing false results, or is using the external incorrect?
