DUMeter I'm confused
« on: May 22, 2012, 04:27:40 PM »

Out of curiosity more than need after it was mentioned today, I installed DUMeter.
It has confused me with the figures it produces in its little window.

My ADSL2+ sync is 7993kbps and my profile 7.05MB, yet reported speeds for downloads are measured as e,g. 15.7kbps, whilst other speed testers show sensible through put of 5500+ kbps.

I have a horrible feeling there is something I have not understood. :( :D Am I right, and can I be educated?

Just double check the settings.. if its on kB/sec it may come out looking weird
I have mine set as Kilobits per Second (kbps) in the general tab.

What files are you using to test with?
Try TBB's
