I'm not too happy with the present version of MSE at the moment. Late last week, my laptop became infested with a trojan and, thence several viruses. MSE identified that it had found the trojan as severe, named it, but failed to disinfect after the recommended action was taken. On going to the MS Virus bulletins page, there was no up-to-date info on it. The trojan was WIN32.sirefef.p and the viruses were a goodly selection that it had opened the door to.
In the end, I have to resort to using an aggressive method of cleaning - Combofix.
