^^
and how many are really, madly, dearly necessary? For instance, why does one of my routers have a male power socket, and the other a female? At the other end of the cable, what's the real necessity for different transformers?

Sorry for diversion to serious. Please don't cast me into outer darkness for my sin.(https://forum.kitz.co.uk/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.animatedimages.org%2Fdata%2Fmedia%2F2136%2Fanimated-praying-smiley-image-0013.gif&hash=3af526132870d865bca6b19cbc2220c7bd6244de)

Just over a year ago (after N*Star had migrated from EE to Vodafone) I picked up a new, sealed in box, Vodafone branded Huawei HHG2500 in an attempt to understand the problem of the Vodafone G.993.2 based service.

Of all the contents in the box, the only item I have kept is the PSU.  :D  (It is used to power my Watchfront FB105, when I have a need to use that device.)

Just checked, to find I have 22 at least in the "useful one day" collection.  ???
I don't think my son will want to inherit them - he's got enough of his own!
No idea how or why I acquired the one in the pic, or what it was used for.
A sticker on the back says "HED 86/1", but HED doesn't appear in this list of telecoms manufacturers -
