Title: Sky - WAN DHCP issue two nights in a row?
Post by: boost on August 24, 2017, 12:38:17 AM
Around 04:00 yesterday. I know of at least one other non-local subscriber dropped at the exact same time.
Around 00:25 just now?

Manually renewed the lease both times to fix.

Anyone else? What's going on? :)

...and survey says:

Aug 24 00:15:51   dpinger: WAN_DHCP aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd: Alarm latency 10718us stddev 7000us loss 21%

Aug 23 03:57:06   dpinger: WAN_DHCP aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd: Alarm latency 6726us stddev 259us loss 21%

Could be me. I'm always donkeying around with something :)

I went down also.

Ipv6 came back up by itself after about 15 mins or so, after that I got ipv4 back by manually cycling the wan.

Sky are not the best isp for nighttime outages, I have had a fair few this year.
