Title: Cheap USB sticks
Post by: renluop on August 10, 2017, 01:00:06 PM
Amazon lists an enormous number, some in multi-packs that are quite cheap e.g 5 x 8 GB for a little over £20. However the brands are totally unfamiliar to me, so I am thinking is it too much risk.

What are your thoughts?

I dont know about Amazon, but I have purchased some quite cheap ones from 7dayshop and had no issues with them.

@ Broadstairs That's encouraging. Just out of curiosity, what were the cheap ones' brands?
Is manufacture of the sticks low tech, making them easy to make at acceptable quality?

7DayShop's own label which I think is just badge engineering  ;)

64Gb Sandisk are only £20 from PC World - depending on the speed, either just under or just over. Memory is getting ever cheaper!
