Title: Anyone connecting a ZyXEL VMG8324 or 8924 to wireless bridge/repeater?

I have obtained an old ZyXEL NWA-3166 wireless AP which also works in bridge/repeater mode. I have set it up to try (pending running an ethernet cable) in bridge/repeater mode to my VMG8924 but for some reason it does not work. I am wondering if anyone else is running this kind of setup and what settings they use on they 8924 or8324 to allow it to connect. I've followed the book for the NWA-3166 but so far no luck!
